AGENCY: Intersect GMD CLIENT: 826 National
During my internship with Intersect GMD, I had the opportunity to work on a series of illustrated and animated assets for 826 National, a nonprofit company supporting young writers. While their programs are full of imagination and playful energy, their online presence didn’t fully reflect that spirit.
My role was to design and animate a series of playful, hand-drawn GIFs that would bring movement, personality, and fun to their digital content. These visuals build on 826 National’s strong brand identity, adding expressive illustration and motion that stay true to their voice.
The result is a lively, engaging set of assets that help their digital content better connect with their audience bringing the creativity of youth writing directly into their feed.

Process
The project began with loose, exploratory sketches to develop playful concepts that matched 826 National’s tone. From there, I refined the illustrations digitally, focusing on expressive shapes and clear forms to ensure readability in motion.





The color palette was carefully selected to complement 826 National’s existing brand colors, creating a cohesive look across all assets while bringing fresh energy to their social media presence.

This collection of hand-drawn style, animated GIFs was designed to align with 826 National’s established visual identity and playful brand voice. Each animation adds movement and personality to their social media presence, helping to visually reflect the creativity and imagination at the heart of their mission.
